Hi, y'all! I'm Krishaun, a 20-something who has an affinity for snapping candid photos at the worst best moments, fawning over furry friends, taking a stance for social justice causes and promoting self-love. I have been blogging since 2012, but have jumped from blog-to-blog throughout the years. I started writing on this blog in 2016 and did that for about two years, then took a hiatus. I'm finally back, in 2020, and am looking forward to cultivating this space again.
I was inspired to create TBE originally because of the racial tension in the U.S., in line with the 2016 election. I was, and continue to be, angry with the social disparities here, and I need(-ed) a venting space. Plus, I love to write. And that's how this blog came to be. Over time, I realized that this blog can also be a little hub for my other interests: college life, travel and creative endeavors. Now that I've graduated from college, I won't write about that subject anymore.
